Yes you seal for the sake of easy cleaning etc. dont use concrete sealer ect...there are pool sealers the do not skin the stone, paver, capping, saving it getting slippery…

Pebblecrete does not stain more than quartzon. I apply interiors www.pacificpools.net.au‎ and renovate pools...each finish has it + and -.
Quartzon in particular needs to be applied…
