La Escandella Ceramica from Bristile Roofing was recently exhibited in a sleek, interactive display at Brisbane’s most dynamic and highly anticipated interior design and building event, the Sunday Mail Home Show.

Running for over 18 years, Sunday Mail Home Show has long been an essential destination for homeowners, prospective home buyers, renovators and trade professionals looking to encounter new and innovative products, discover the latest trends, meet the suppliers and designers, share ideas and receive expert advice from industry leaders.

The event was a resounding success, drawing over 18,000 visitors to the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre for three days of design inspiration.

With a variety of new colours and profiles fresh to the market earlier this year, the Bristile Roofing La Escandella exhibit was an exciting destination for attendees. The exhibit featured five panels of tiles and numerous samples from the collection as well as a television screen which showcased a range of architecturally designed residential and commercial projects featuring tiles from the collection.

The Bristile team were also on hand to offer their professional advice on products, current trends in roof tile and residential design, colour matching and technical specifications, as well as guide visitors through the selection process to help them find the products that best suit their project, budget and environmental concerns.

The new Vienna range was on display at the Bristile exhibit, catching the attention of visitors passing by with its strong, contemporary profile and range of lively colours. The recent colour additions to the Grande range, including the stunning monotone and duotone hues, were also judged one of the highlights of the display.

Also creating a buzz on the show floor was the new model Visum tile, which visitors found to be the perfect affordable alternative to slate due to its interlocking design, ‘pitting’ feature and three cambered facings.

With a heavy focus on sustainability and green residential design at the show this year, the high thermal mass and solar reflectance of terracotta roof tiles were of particular interest to visitors. The Bristile team also helped attendees identify opportunities for maximising passive design features in their new build or renovation project to reduce energy usage.
