Hi all
Has anyone gone about a process of a final occupation certificate without engaging the private certifier? We are having a lot of issues with our certifier and now Clarendon…

Thanks JK27, that's what I was thinking. More an advisor and person who works on behalf of the client as the builders certainly don't.

Question, if given the chance. How many of you would enage the services of a project professional to help with the build process in terms of:
Negotiation of tenders, quotes, guidance…

Check the addendums to the contract. Ours has a clause added in the addendum that moved provisionals to the final payment milestone.

It's Clarendon, they hire the trades and overwork the site managers. No care is taken. It's the companies responsibility and they simply don't give a crap.

Don't do your contract until plans are done. For a knock down rebuild you will have to be out and the house knocked down and site cleared before they take…
