I would not recommend garage location. I’d suggest somewhere central in your house like in your under stair cupboard. Wifi extenders and the like exist but great if you can…

I agree if you trust your builder.
If it's past lockup, and waterproofing and insulation is done..... everything else is likely still visible at pre completion inspection as not covered…
