Final build cost per m2???

My brother in Newcastle got away with $1250 sqm for a single storey volume builder home. Probably say it's a low-med level of finishes.
Sydney build coming up for myself…

Handover with defects.

If you already have a lawyer ask them to draft it. They'll charge you to proof read so might as well get it done right the first time

What's the benefits of doing it this way? Compared to traditional double brick

Yes me too. I always thought double brick meant no timber.
My current house is double brick and has no timber wall frames.

Are you in Ku Ring Gai? They are crazy for trees.
$1.4m is ridiculous and how could they possibly enforce a fine like that.

No arguments from me. Negative feedback where factual is 100% fine and should be encouraged.

I think he meant the builders lawyers used that reference of the T&C's to get the specific posts taken down by the forum moderators

5.3.4 is written poorly. Should be extended to note in relation to false or misleading claims.
Absolutely nothing wrong with disseminating negative feedback if the statements are factual. …

Knock down rebuild builders

Check out Charleston Homes. We are very close to choosing them for our build.
We've been through two of their completed projects, beautiful homes.

That sounds good, did you have any luck with the price negotiation or just went with it?

As Alexp79 mentions in 6 or 12 months we may be able to get better pricing so I'm still in two minds on whether to build or wait

Wow, for $1.6m you must be building an absolute monster house with very high spec upgrades. This is a full custom build? Not one of their standard designs?…

Hi guys, I'm also considering building with Charleston and would love to hear how you've gone. We are looking to build in St Ives
