My main bedroom the the front of the house has awning windows with a flyscreen. The windows are only narrow so if they were sliding they wouldn't open very much.

Yes it never looks the same in photos. Maybe you could ask your builder if they have any display homes with Windspray - I know its a pretty popular colour.
