Load baring double and triple studs

Engineer said he doesn’t do inspections. Only time he goes on site is if there’s an issue.
Do you have an example photo of studs doing down to ground floor?

We have some load baring double and triple studs (LVL’s) on second story that support the roof.
I may have misunderstood the engineer, but what I understood is these studs should…

Scyon flooring in bathrooms or particle board?

Yes, you are right we don’t need underlay with scyon, but we’ll need underlay in order to get the height of the tiles to match the carpet in the hallway.

Hi,
I just want to know if we should use scyon flooring for the upstairs bathrooms or just stick to regular particle board?

Is calculating rain fall and how box gutters handle the load part of FEM simulation? Apparently we need to show this too.

It’s a flat kliploc roof.
We may add solar panels in future.
Not going with solar boosted hot water.
Our asked our structural engineer and he said he doesn’t specify the centres.…

I really like your long cupboards in the hall way. We’re going to do something similar.
What type of doors are they? Is this melamine, 2pac or laminate?
If you…

Everything goes out of style sooner or later. I say if you like it, then do it.
We’re putting one in. To me it makes the kitchen look more grand.

I’ve been getting quotes for roof trusses, and some are coming in with 900 centers and others 600.
There is a cost benefit in going 900, but I’m concerned whether that’s…

Thanks. I didn’t think about these points. I’ll stick to original plan and go double glazed throughout.

We’re about to start building a large double story house in Melbourne.
Our energy report calls for some windows to be double glazed, but not all.
I actually want to double glaze…
