Actron or Daikin? Can’t decide.

Hi,
I’m trying to decide which ducted system to choose for our new house being built in Melbourne.
It’s a large double story house, 41 squares (381sqm) of living space.
I’ve narrowed it…

35 x 90 studs used upstairs, plan says 45

I only just noticed that our second story frame has been constructed with mostly 35x90 pine instead of 45 x 90.
At 450 centers.
Downstairs is all 45’s.
The architectural plans say…

Load baring double and triple studs

Engineer said he doesn’t do inspections. Only time he goes on site is if there’s an issue.
Do you have an example photo of studs doing down to ground floor?

No engineering detail showing continuity of double studs. The engineer said the studs should continue to lower ground frame over the phone, where as the carpenter says they do blocking.

We have some load baring double and triple studs (LVL’s) on second story that support the roof.
I may have misunderstood the engineer, but what I understood is these studs should…

Scyon flooring in bathrooms or particle board?

Yes, you are right we don’t need underlay with scyon, but we’ll need underlay in order to get the height of the tiles to match the carpet in the hallway.

I just want to know if we should use scyon flooring for the upstairs bathrooms or just stick to regular particle board?
