Another 'Help me Michelle' thread :)

Looks pretty in the display homes, but not very practical. I'm glad it won't be me mopping the floors!

Plus, if you go for a white grout it will be a nightmare.
The more you mop it, the dirtier the grout will get.

Tiles or glass splashback

Glass splashbacks are very expensive and def more expensive than tiles.
They are fantastic though, and worth the money.

I wouldn't go for white floor tiles, unless you want to mop them twice a day!

What size do you think is good for a new home in square metres (excluding the garage), and what factors did you take into consideration?

Llightcoloured bricks eg Girraween or Bianca for facade

We've chosen the Bianca Bricks for our home with brighton lite mortar.
I wouldn't think dirtiness would be a problem.

Has anyone built with Sterling Homes?

It's been 15 months, and our slab has only just gone down now.
I would not recommend anyone build with Sterling, as I have never heard anyone say anything good…

Anyone built with Stirling Homes - SA?

I'm building with Sterling Homes. It's been 15 months and I only have a slab!
Customer service there is pathetic.

Building in SA!

Hi Bobby,
Look on the bright side, I signed my initial contract over 12 months ago, and still have no slab! Council approval was only given two months ago.

Nope. We're building with Sterling Homes. Very slow, very unorganised. Not sure whether all builders are like that, but it's so frustrating!
