The reason i ask is there are different laying methods dependent on where you are.

It is better to let Travertine breathe around a pool and i wouldnt seal them. They are a great natural stone that is really easy to maintain.

Gig out small patches from healthy grassed areas and dig them into areas that without grass. This will then speed up the time to cover larger areas without grass.

I'd probably get a quote from another contractor. its always hard to tell without seeing the area and exactly whats involved, but doesn't hurt to shop around.

Stay away from surface sealers (gloss or wet look) they do not allow pavers to breathe, go for a penetrating sealer. CCS products are good.
