Hi Stewie, I have no idea whether there is a sealer or undercoat. :(

I did not specify. I siad the house needed to be painted, and it had to look good in preparation for a sale.
For $3000 over 2 weeks, I assumed…

Thanks for the feedback, we weren't sure what to expect.
We paid $1200 for the plastering which was completed in a day and a half, and $3000 for a further 2…

Thanks Stewie, it's a relief to know it'll come off. Is this normal if we were to get more plastering work done?

The plastering job looked like it was done well but there are white marks all over the brick walls that can't come off.
I don't know if it's some kind of…

If I was going to have guinea fowls, I'd have more than three for sure.

The property is just under one acre so space shouldn't be a problem, lots of trees and foliage around if they want to go sit on a branch or something.

Where does one buy guinea fowls anyway?

I saw a couple of kookaburras at the property but I think the building process will probably scare them away.

I guess the safest bet would be to use both pulse emitters and guinea fowls. I don't suppose you can get em at the local pet shop, those guinea…

Building a fence - etiquette?

Thanks miteq, if I was to build a fence, I'd let my neighbours know too. It was just a hypothetical situation I wanted to discuss above.

Heh thanks, it looks like a lot of great info, I'll be printing some of them out and reading through them.

I figured that if I had a proper fence, my dog wouldn't run into the thick bush and get lost or end up in another property (amongst other reasons).

Hi Yogybear, this is in Victoria, Belgrave. The local council website has some information but nothing specific:

Out of interest - if I wanted to build a fence around my property, the normal thing to do is to discuss with my neighbours and split the costs, right?

It looks so strong and determined, I wouldn't want to cut it down so it's great you've moved it to its own pot.

That's a pretty determined looking plant. You might have to post this in a botany forum to find out what it is.
