Yes, it is on the boundary wall. Would there be possible maintenance issues if water overflows and goes into wall cavities?? Would you know how to prevent this issue?…

I've been told by my architect that it is okay to have a gutter on top of a brick wall instead of it overhanging. Is this correct??
