The builder will undoubtedly charge a (imo ridiculous) markup for extra power and data...so it'll be expensive.
Having said that, getting cabling done after the fact will also be expensive given…

Almost 0 chance of water hammer which is great. I assume the plastic pipe is far easier to install than copper too...no need to spend time making bends and firing…

Pretty sure my water pipes weren't fixed in many spots, so there's some flexibility there which would hopefully avoid them being "pinned" when you stick a massive great nail through…
