Building with Hall & Hart Homes

Has anyone built a shaker style kitchen with H&H?
Just wondering how much additional shaker style cabinetry and island would be. Looking for ball park figures.

Thanks for the figures!
That’s weird it would fluctuate. Have you tried speedtest.net?
Are those speeds during peak times?

I've heard from residents that the fibre speed is atrocious.
Any first hand accounts here?

Pretty quiet on here. Still a bunch of houses going up in Stage 6. How is everyone progressing?

No idea, also interested in landscaping cost.
Can you itemise your quote? How big are the retaining wall(s)?

kimm0, wouldnt worry too much. I've seen lots of lots with rubbish on them, and it always gets removed by the builder once excavation works commence.

Mirvac.
The excavation dug below the original ground level (which is where the retaining wall ended at, post go in deeper, I imagine). So the floor of the slab is below…

Thank you Bashworth
That’s what I thought. I couldn’t understand why they would excavate below the original ground level and lay the foundation there despite there being an existing retaining wall.…

Retaining wall question

Hi,
Block had existing retaining walls.
Block was excavated for the slab, and they dug an extra 30-40cm below the kopper logs and laid the foundation there. Now on one side of…

What if a retaining wall is built on the side? Does the setback apply against this barrier or the fence line?

Does anyone know what the minimum set back is on the sides of the house? Does this apply against the fence line?

Cant see it being too difficult to DIY if the wiring and power switches are there? Is this something you have looked into?

Hi everyone
Had a question on the slab.
There are quite a few areas along the edge where the slab is chipped. There’s also an area on the floor of the slab…

Probably just demand on the line
I know someone else who gets 30mb in peak off a 50mb line. A 50% dilution in performance seems a bit much though. I would…

I wonder if its because your street already has a lot of dark colors? So they are knocking back to balance colors out. Coal is a very conservative and normal…

Are you building with Mirvac? Your colour consultant should be able to advise.
How dark did you want to go with your colors?

Just wondering…

Rodlee, how long have you been waiting on council now?
DA comes in two steps - there's the DA itself, then the CC. Do you have DA yet?

Hi all
Just received our final contract variations, and the need for additional piering in the zone of influence was deleted, but no credit was applied against the initial site costs.…

Hi everyone,
Can anyone give me a realistic expectation around timing for 'final consolidation'? What happens during this stage?
Cheers

So how long did your build take all up in weeks if you don’t mind me asking?
Congratulations on the handover date
