Is there a checklist of certificates/engineering diagrams etc which the builder needs to provide at handover?
Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I am a bit confused about the stringer being run higher?

They have now put the other strip of wood under the stairs. Looks terrible, I have asked for a straight edge.

Thanks. On the other side is timber, they haven’t put the strip of wood on the left side yet.
I just like a straight finish.

Anyone have any ideas on a straight edge finish?

It should be flush right?

Hi all, this doesn’t look right to me. Shouldn’t the staircase be flush with the architrave. Just looks odd with one “sticking” out. Thanks for any advice.

If the frame was created properly that piece of wood won’t be required to cover the tracks.
Is that correct

Thanks. It does cover the tracks.
But I just thought the door should go inside the architrave if that makes sense.

Hi All,
Why is there a piece of wood attached to the cavity sliding door? I thought the door was suppose to go inside the architrave jamb? Doesn’t look right!
Thanks
