Thanks! thats making me feel a lot more confident. The tapware we have selcted is 200m to the water outlet and it has adjustable stream direction. Speaking to the builder, he was erring on the side of caution about the wall touching the bath and we should get at least 50mm - not as much as I wanted but enough to get a mop handle down behind it if needed.
