Lighting Options - Told Halogen downlights not available?

If anyone is in Melbourne (Bundoora) I have a dark room that I am happy to show the D900 in the roof.

Yeah 13w is tough for gu10. What about complete fixture? Or do you have a lumen target, some affordable modules are getting close to 90lm/w

Casa why don't you buy an LED with a diffuser then? I walked through a halogen replacement job the other day and didn't even realize my lights had gone in…

James I would say option 2 would be the best if you can ask them to fit power outlets in the roof rather than junction boxes, then you can cut…

replace 12 v halogen with LED Brighgreen D900? any issues

I don't know why hats would make the drivers overheat as I wouldn't be putting them under the hat (I doubt they fit)

Using hats can be a trade off as the lights will run hotter (very little airflow under a hat) reducing their life (from memory BG has a void warranty clause…

For 240v GU10 you don't. Some old MR16 fittings used to be 240v which required an electrician to connect new globes.
or as above.....
