Yes, there is timber frame around the garage slab...
The stuff around there is called kordon. its a bright yellow plastic looking stuff.

we had a surveyor mark out the house boundary, and the chippies marked, dug and installed the stumps.
Much quicker and easier that way

We use frankston i think... they seemed reasonably priced...
we havnt had to claim anything yet so i cant comment as to their service in that area.
