Hi Guys
Its been a while since ive logged in.
The stuff i needed was:
site survey and setout plans
electrical certificate (incl smoke detectors)
data cabling certificate
plumbing inspections certificate
glazing
truss (we didnt have any trusses)
waterproofing
insulation…

Yes, there is timber frame around the garage slab...
The stuff around there is called kordon. its a bright yellow plastic looking stuff.

we had a surveyor mark out the house boundary, and the chippies marked, dug and installed the stumps.
Much quicker and easier that way :)

We use frankston i think... they seemed reasonably priced...

it comes up a little bluer on the camera.... its a little bit greyer in real life...

Saves me a bit every time..... I found its pretty much 5% on everything except tools, paint and anything on special.

Our experience is similar to Bam's.
We are probably spending around the same money, but we are getting much more house for that money.
