There are two council permits that you need to get before you start building.
1. Asset Protection Permit
2. Council Infrustracture Levy
In total it cost $600-$650 for both.

I called the council offices and did the whole lot over the phone and paid with our credit card. All they need to know is your lot number.

Yeah we settled on our block today (lot 1308). Took some time but all done now. Time to start building.
